Story
Emerge Therapy & Consulting offers an array of holistic psychotherapeutic services to Individuals, Families, Couples, and Groups. We also offer special services such as grief group counseling, children and adolescence counseling. In addition, we offer coaching services for parents and Christian leaders. This is a virtual based private practice. Emerge Therapy offers a THRIVE Conference to raise mental health awareness.

MISSION To provide a holistic treatment that empowers and heals pains through addressing both one's relationship to the problem and interpersonal components of human life to ensure wellness in a caring, confidential and respectful manner.
VISION To assist people to develop skills for transforming their personal struggles into life enhancing optimum mental wellness.
Meet Sophia Rose, M.A., PhD (candidate)
Registered Marriage & Family Therapist Intern
Sophia Rose was born in Jamaica. She is a mother, speaker, author, educator and a therapist. Sophia is the owner and CEO of Emerge Therapy and Consulting Services. She has worked in different settings, including schools.
She’s passionate about helping hurting individuals, couples, families, and groups to address their presenting issues and pains. In addition, she’s committed to working with believers in the faith communities through empowerment workshops, conferences, symposiums at which she encourages mental wellness and emerging holistically.
Sophia is a graduate of Adelphi University with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Trinity International University. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. In Couples and Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University.
Sophia enjoys working in diverse community-focused organizations. She is the recipient of the All-Star Leadership Academy Award from the Mental Health Association in Broward. Sophia is a founder and podcaster of She Emerge Sisterhood Inc. She enjoys traveling with her daughter, reading, and facilitating safe spaces for the Emerge Inner Circle.
